Henry's Freedom Box by Ellen Levine

This is about the Underground Railroad
Henry was a slave, he lost his family but married Nancy and had two children with her. He wanted to be free like a bird. His master eventually became ill and sent him to work for his son. Then he lost Nancy and the kids. Dr. Smith was a white man who thought slavery was wrong and sent him to America in Philadelphia, Pa to a friends house. He was now free and got a birthday and a middle name Henry fought for freedom.
