Contemporary Realistic Fictioon, Picture Book
Summar- When Miss Nelson didn't come to school the class got a new teacher, whose name was Mrs. Swamp. She was so strict and the children listened and did everything they were supposed to do. The children realized they missed their old teacher and the way she ran the classroom. They ended up looking for Mrs. Nelson and thought of all the places where she could be and came up with crazy ideas in their creative imaginations. Miss Nelson came back and the children were well-behaved. The children don't know this but she was Mrs. Swamp.
Theme- Sometimes you have to teach children the hard way to get what you want in the classrooom.
