Summary- This book is about a young slave girl names Hannah on the southern plantation. Her and her father run for freedom and she brings along a quilt that her mother helped her make before she passed away. The patterns on the quilt are what guide them to freedom through the Underground Railroad.
Great way to introduce the Underground Railroad to your class.
